Mechanical Engineering combines skills needed to conceive, design and produce the moving parts, components and machinery in every aspect of manufacture. An increasing shortage of trained mechanical engineers with technical, analytical, business and interpersonal skills is reflected in the growing salaries and excellent career prospects that graduates can command.

Graduates of this programme are qualified to continue into a degree programme with our reputable partner universities in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The broad-based modules give you the flexibility to pursue a degree in various other areas of engineering specialisations such as aerospace, chemical, civil and many more. Graduates will be recognised by the respective professional bodies in those countries and be eligible to register with the Board of Engineers and Institute of Engineers Malaysia.
